This is a very simple drill. It will give massive amounts of confidence over the short putts on the golf course.
Set out 4 3-foot putts around the hole at 12-o’clock, 3-o’clock, 6-o’clock and 9-o’clock. Work your way around the clock 2 times until you have hit 8 3-foot putts in total, 2 from each quarter.
If you miss any one of the 8 putts, start again at the 12-o’clock.
Once you have holed each of the 8 putts from 3-feet, move back to 4 more putts from 6-feet. These putts will go between the gaps of the 3-foot putts.
You must hole each of the 6 footers in a row before you finish the challenge. If you miss any of the putts go back to 12-o’clock on the 3-footers and start the challenge again.
To complete the challenge you must hole 8 3-foot putts and 4 6-foot putts in a row.
This is a great drill for improving confidence over the short putts on the course. It requires you to hole 12 putts in a row to complete the challenge. This means that, when you face one on the golf course, you can be happy that you are able to hole it with ease.
