February 2023

The season is approaching

Happy new year. A long winter finally feels like it’s coming to an end as I look out of the shop window this morning. With that, lessons are starting to pick up as we head into the golf season. If you would like to book yourself in, please get in touch or click the link below. I look forward to another busy year of helping you all with your golf.

2020 Season

The 2020 season was different to any other season we have ever had. With a late start due to the coronavirus lockdown, the season was a quick one.

In the weeks leading up to competitions I played more ‘social golf’ than I have for years. This made a nice, relaxing change to my feelings on the golf course. In this period, I began to play consistent, solid golf which I hoped I would take into the competitive season.

Golfing in Lockdown

During lockdown, like a lot of people, I have been struggling to find the motivation to stay active. When you’re not doing anything, have nowhere to be and nothing to work towards, it can be difficult to find a reason to do anything. I have been trying my best to keep my body and my brain as busy as possible.

Post-Junior Golf

After my A-levels, I had to make a decision about what I wanted to do with the next year of my life. I was unsure about what career path I wanted to take at the time and my options were unclear.

Junior Golf

Golf has been a huge part of my life for as long as I remember. My grandad was a massive golf fan therefore, keen to pass on his passion on to his grandchildren as early as possible.
