The season is approaching
Happy new year. A long winter finally feels like it’s coming to an end as I look out of the shop window this morning. With that, lessons are starting to pick up as we head into the golf season. I am due to finish my PGA qualification this July, currently in the process of completing my final assignment, then 5 exams at the end of April. After that it is a short wait until I get my results for the year followed by being elected as a PGA member.
Lessons
Now is a great time to book lessons to give yourself time to work on skills before the season begins. Whether it be a swing change or tightening up your short game, book in now to hit the ground running this season.
Juniors
There are no group sessions during the February half-term, but if you would like to book an individual session they are £17 each for juniors. I can also book private group sessions if your child would like to bring a group of friends or siblings. Enquire for prices.
I plan to restart Junior Group Sessions in the Easter break and continue through the whole of the season from then. Dates and times for these will be released in the near future, so keep watching for these. These were very popular last year and hopefully another busy year for the juniors at Wetherby Golf Club.

As with every year, I am giving golf my best shot this year. Thank you to Wharfedale Homes Limited for sponsoring me for the year. This sponsorship will help me to fund entry fees, coaching, fitness training and other golf expenses which come in a year of golfing.
My year starts in Turkey this year at the TGI Team Challenge 2023 this March. 4 rounds at Gloria Golf Club and a little bit of pre season sun. I then continue in April through the season to September.
